Nicki grew up on a dairy farm near Paeroa and always had dogs, stock and animals around her. She always admired her dad's affinity with animals and is honoured to have inherited his gift.
Together with her Labrador, Jessie, Nicki started Doggy Bush Break on the Matakana Coast after realising there were many dogs that had daily walks, but needed true doggy adventures where they could totally be themselves and let their inner doggy nature shine. Jessie has now gone over the rainbow bridge and Taffy has taken her place as the matriarch of the DBB family.
Doggy Bush Break now resides on 130 acres, all just for dogs, three minutes north of Warkworth. There are fields for those that need to run, ponds for those that like to swim, mud for dogs that wallow and native bush tracks to explore.
The pure joy on a dogs face when they realise they are coming on one of our adventure walks is just one of the highlights of every day at Doggy Bush Break. Every dog returns home happy, tired, and most importantly of all - more confident and well socialised.
We can offer your dog the true adventure experience of running with an established pack of calm and balanced dogs. Your dog will learn pack etiquette and real doggy life socialisation skills with the Doggy Bush Break family.
